Hi, my name is Cathy Fetsch and I would like to introduce myself as your AlphaNet Coordinator.
I live in University City, Missouri with my Shih Tzu, Buttons- who has a busier social calendar than I do! I was diagnosed with Alpha-1 in 2010 after years of being treated by several pulmonologists, cardiologists and an electro physiologist. Finally, I was diagnosed during a routine eye exam when my cheaters no longer worked for me. My eye doctor saved my life. Since 2012, I have been employed by AlphaNet. Previously I was self-employed at my hair salon for 24 years and have since retired due to my diagnosis with Alpha-1. I am active in my church. I work at keeping physically fit. I love to collect antiques and travel.
I love serving other Alphas and find that it brings me great joy. We all feel vulnerable and unsure of the unexpected, but we know that knowledge is power.
